Be aware that the Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission is secretive, and does not have a transparent process.
For judges like Vicky Alspaugh, we have to pay close attention to Judicial Canons 2 and 3.
In my case, Judge Alspaugh often violates Canon 2 by making use of long rants, shouting, threats, intimidation, taunting, lying, making controversial statements and mocking.
Additionally, in my case, Judge Alspaugh violated Canon 3 by taking ex parte (one party) evidence, testimony, and using it by surprise in later hearings. Failure to report ex parte communication is a violation of MCJC Canon 3(A)(4), and is grounds for the judge to be removed from the bench.
CANON 1.
A Judge Should Uphold the Integrity and Independence of the Judiciary.
CANON 2.
A Judge Should Avoid Impropriety and the Appearance of Impropriety in
All Activities.
CANON 3.
A Judge Should Perform the Duties of Office Impartially and Diligently.
